Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about working with lovematrix.top Model Management. Can't find your answer? Contact us directly.
You can apply through our online application on the Contact page, attend one of our monthly open casting calls at our SoHo studio, or send your digitals (simple, unedited photos) directly to [email protected]. We review every submission and respond within two weeks.
We consider talent of all ages, sizes, and backgrounds. While traditional fashion modeling has specific height requirements (typically 5'9" and above for women, 6'0" for men), we represent talent across all divisions including commercial, lifestyle, petite, plus-size, and digital. The most important qualities are confidence, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
No! In fact, we prefer simple, unedited photos taken with a smartphone. We call these "digitals" — they should include a clear headshot, full-length photo, and profile shot in natural lighting. Professional photos or heavy editing can actually make it harder for us to assess your natural potential.
We offer three management tiers: Starter ($500/month), Professional ($1,500/month), and Elite ($4,000/month). Each plan includes different levels of service, from basic portfolio creation to full international management. We also earn industry-standard commission on bookings we secure for you
lovematrix.top takes a holistic, personal approach to talent management. We limit our roster to ensure every model receives dedicated attention. Our team provides career strategy, brand development, training, and mental health support — not just bookings. We're committed to diversity and have built a reputation for launching long, sustainable careers rather than chasing short-term trends.
This varies by individual. Some models book within their first month, while others may take 3-6 months of development before they're market-ready. We focus on building a strong foundation — portfolio, training, industry relationships — so that when bookings come, they're the right opportunities for your career.
Yes. Through our network of partner agencies in Paris, Milan, London, Tokyo, Sydney, and other major markets, we facilitate international placements for eligible models. International opportunities are available through our Professional and Elite plans. We handle visa coordination, travel logistics, and accommodation arrangements.
We represent talent across multiple divisions: Fashion/Editorial, Commercial/Lifestyle, Runway, Plus-Size, Petite, Fitness, Parts (hands, hair), Digital/Influencer, and Mature. This ensures we can find the right opportunities for every type of talent on our roster.
Our contracts vary by tier. Starter plan models may freelance with prior approval. Professional and Elite models sign exclusive management agreements within the New York market but may be placed with partner agencies in other markets through our international network. We're always transparent about contract terms before you sign.
Our open calls are relaxed and welcoming. You'll meet with our scouting team for a brief introduction, take a few simple photos, and have a conversation about your goals and experience. Wear simple, form-fitting clothing (no logos), minimal makeup, and bring a positive attitude. The whole process takes about 30 minutes. Check our Events page for upcoming dates.
Absolutely. All plans include some level of training. Our programs cover runway technique, posing, facial expressions, on-set etiquette, media training, personal branding, and social media strategy. Sessions are held at our SoHo studio and led by experienced industry professionals. Our Elite plan includes one-on-one coaching sessions.
